So the fortress of my writer’s block has been conquered!
When in doubt about writing a character type in the Regency era, I find it helpful to use Jane Austen as a source.
I decided to watch a film adaptation of Mansfield Park to do an observation of a particular character, Henry Crawford, that might have similarities to this character of mine.
Watching the film helped to get my mind going and I now have plans for the upcoming chapter.
Yay for moving forward!
Whenever you’re in a funk, look for ways to move forward like studying an author that you admire.
It helps a lot!
